Darren Yehl
President and Training Director

Darren currently serves on the Board of Directors for PACNY and the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. Darren has NYSDOH and EPA Accreditations to teach the Model Accreditation Program asbestos classes. He is also an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor.
 

Amy Yehl

Michael Zink
Sales and Marketing Manager

Mr. Zink has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the environmental consulting/contracting industry, including extensive CERCLA/RCRA experience in New York State. James Sorel
Instructor

Jim is a certified Industrial Hygienist with a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene from Texas A&M University.  He is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, OSHA hazardous waste site operations, New York State Department of Health as an Asbestos Safety Instructor and the New York State Department of Labor.  He is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene, and the Rochester Council on Occupational Safety and Health.  Jim has EPA Accreditations to teach the Model Accreditation Program asbestos classes.

Gregg Mance
Instructor

Gregg is certified by the New York State Department of Labor as an Air Technician, Asbestos Inspector, Project Monitor and Project Designer.  He is certified by the EPA as a Lead Inspector. Gregg is a certified Respiratory Program Administrator.  He was the head asbestos consultant to LeChase Construction for four years on multiple industrial decommissioning projects including the Eastman Kodak Footprint Reduction Program.  Gregg managed the pre-demolition surveys, project and air monitoring, and asbestos abatement design during 30+ building demolition projects.

Lee D'Amico
Instructor

Lee’s Asbestos expertise spans more than 24 years. He has NYSDOH and EPA Accreditations to teach the Model Accreditation Program asbestos classes. Lee is also an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor.  Lee was an owner operator of Hebert Construction which performed the Owens Illinois (NYS) Plant Asbestos Removal between 1985 and 1986. This was one of the first major asbestos removal jobs done in western New York State.

Bob Stevens
Instructor

Bob is an experienced Safety Consultant Professional.  Bob provides safety training in various topics including, but not limited to, trenching and excavation, fall protection, cranes, rigging, powered industrial trucks, scaffolds, hoists, personal protective equipment, fire protection, exit routes, hazard communication and welding.  Bob is an authorized General Industry outreach trainer and an authorized construction outreach trainer.  He is also a certified OSHA trainer.

Zulmarie Reyes
Training Coordinator

Zulmarie provides expertise and organization for all training programs at the Institute.  She is bi-lingual and provides invaluable assistance for our Spanish speaking programs.

Julio Ferrer
Instructor

Julio has extensive experience as a Project Supervisor for Asbestos Projects.  He has been the inside and outside crew leader for multiple abatement projects in the Rochester area.  He provides exceptional value as a communication bridge for Spanish speaking workers and conducts many of our Spanish speaking programs.  Julio is the head “Safety” Training instructor.

Andres Hernandez
Instructor

Andres has many years of experience as a Project Supervisor for Asbestos Projects.  He is Cornerstone’s lead trainer for Cornerstone’s Spanish speaking "Asbestos" Classes. Andres has served as an environmental remediation project supervisor for more than ten years throughout New York State.  He is approved by the Department of Health for all handler refresher courses.

Jose Martinez
Instructor

Jose brings more than 14 Years of on the Job work experience in the Asbestos Abatement Industry.  He is a great hands-on training instructor.

Christopher Hardy
Instructor

Chris has tremendous on the job asbestos abatement experience.  He has a very hands on approach to the training process.
